Dr. Anita Roberts will be retiring from the UWS clinic system but before she left she wanted to share a few words with her patients and the UWS community:
It is with mixed feelings that I announce my retirement effective December 30, 2015. After 30 years of practice in the Western States clinic system, I have decided it is time to move on to the next chapter of my life. During my time in practice, my goal has always been to provide quality care and guidance to help my patients achieve optimal health. As I prepare to leave practice, one of my priorities is to ensure that my patients effectively transition to a new practitioner in order to continue to receive chiropractic care in support of their health and well-being.
I am very happy to inform you that Franchesca Vermillion, DC, (formerly Harper) has joined the Health Centers of UWS and will be taking over the care of my patients. Dr. Vermillion is a 2006 graduate of Western States Chiropractic College and has worked with Dr. DeLapp and me as a clinical assistant and vacation relief physician. She has always been well received by our patients. I am confident that she will provide the expert and compassionate care that my patients expect and deserve.
Throughout the remainder of this year, Dr. Vermillion will be transitioning into the clinic under my supervision. I encourage you to make an appointment in the coming weeks so I can facilitate your introduction to Dr. Vermillion and start the transition process. If that is not ideal for your schedule, you can make an appointment with our office staff at 503-808-7979 to see her in the new year.
Whether you have been my longtime patient or have only recently come under my care, it has been my pleasure to work with you toward your improved health and wellness. I thank you for letting me be a part of your life. I hope you continue to move with joy each day.
Anita Roberts, DC
